直到…才的英文短语用法

直到...才是一个表示延迟的短语,常见的用法有:

1. It was(不定式)until...that(主句)/(从句).

例:It was not until I arrived home that I realized I had left my keys in the office.

只有到我回到家,我才意识到我把钥匙落在了办公室里。

2.Only when/once... (did) (主句)

例:Only when everyone had left did she start crying.

只有当每个人都离开了,她才开始哭。

3.Only after...(从句) (did) (主句)
